The Republicans and the Democrats have completely different ideas about going ahead with their respective conventions during the pandemic. While the Democratic Party is moving ahead with a cautious approach, and has postponed its convention by a month and has acknowledged that this year’s convention might be virtual, the Republicans have insisted that the pandemic has not affected their plans.
