Car ploughs into hijab store in Sydney; at least 12 injured

At least 12 people are injured after a car smashed into a hijab store in Greenacre, Sydney on Thursday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle crashed into another car stopped at the traffic lights before aggressively revving the engine and ploughing into the shopfront. Those injured in the store were mostly women, aged between 18 and 30.

So even though the police suspect no alterior motive than being a bad driver, the narrative pushed is the presumed intent and the presumed persecution of Islamic women?... Real great journalism here. Honestly my first thought was a man's wife was in there and he was trying to do an honor killing or something.

To add some context (Simone : for summary and news outlets not in Australia)... the local media are just reporting it as “car crashes into store...” with no mention of “hijab” reference.
