’We will guarantee that tourists will not run any risks’ says Prime Minister

Pedro Sanchez, Spain’s Prime Minister confirmed that tourism would commence from July 1. The country was considered as one of the virus hotspots with more than 230,000 confirmed cases and nearly 29,000 deaths. Sanchez also announced a €3bn basic income scheme which will help households that were majorly affected by the lockdown. The scheme is said to come into effect in the coming weeks.
