Wuhan lab says its bat coronavirus strains were not COVID-19
As per Chinese state media, the virology institute in Wuhan has confirmed that it had three live strains of bat coronavirus on-site, but none of them match the one that has caused the COVID-19 pandemic. The director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology said that claims made by US President Trump and others that the virus could have leaked from the facility were ’pure fabrication’.
That's a straw man argument,obviously the original bat strains were not COVID-19, until they inserted SARs 1 rna etc. We know COVID-19/ SARS 2, did not come from natural bat virus mutation. So they are disproving something that we already know isn't true. It's only a distraction. straw man an intentionally misrepresented proposition that is set up because it is easier to defeat than an opponent's real argument.

Sure, but isn't this coming from the state run media that had announced the strains changed from initial spread? This could suggest that it is indeed linked to their lab. It's like admitting to something but not wanting to take fault.
If only there was corroboration from a highly reputable organization like the WHO, then this would be believable -- not.
