Bill of Rights trumps all, says Rick Scott

Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott said Sunday that all Americans have the right to ’worship at a church service’, no matter what any government leader may say. Scott said the Bill of Rights protects people in the US from having to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. He added that leaders from all levels should realize their input is still just guidance rather than law.

Well duh! All of the rights and powers of the different governing bodies in the USA come from the social contract embodied in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and all of the Amendments. No Constitution = no power

In my opinion, go to church do not wear a mask get sick and die it will clean up the gene pool. It will get rid of the monumentally stupid and I am good with that.

Rights that the government can take away on a whim are not Rights, they are Permissions.

This guy gets it. The Constitution (including its Amendments) take precedence over everything else.
