Trials of hydroxychloroquine suspended by WHO

Despite warnings from health officials regarding the usage of drug hydroxychloroquine, the President of the United States, Donald Trump has been advocating and using the anti-malarial drug as a prevention for the coronavirus disease. The drug has been removed by the World Health Organization from its study of potential coronavirus treatments.

If you're haulting the Trials of a drug that's been in use for 40 years you're doing it for political reasons

Who trusts the WHO? They're exposing themselves more and more. Sooner or later, people will realize that the systems they'd been trusting to care for their wellness are the ones selling the snake oil.

Sad part is The who and the left in general are willing to let people die for political reasons.

This drug had been used for literally decades but now we aren't sure if it's safe? So should we go after anyone who's prescribed it in the past? Has it been killing people for over a generation?

The WHO is complcit in killing people, and it's disinformation shows how really dangerous the WHO have become

Political organization that is upset at Trump for calling out their dishonesty, corruption, and incompetence. More proof that the UN is a failed organization and needs to be shut down. Waste of money and only serves to make the world a more dangerous and dishonest place. Defund.

Just like in use of azt during aids when took years for truth to come out on the poisonous crap azt was... Gonna find out hydrochloroquine was another poison pill that escalated death during the chaos... Unless heavily regulated and used for its known uses its a killer... Or leads to permant retina damage.... Damn fools

How ridiculous, my mother is on this drug for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Her Dr took her off other things when COVID started but left her on hydroxy specifically and said it gives her a "super immunity"

Follow the money and you will find the truth. Billions are in danger if a cheap simple drug on the market for decades is effective.

South Korea and Brazil had run these trials back in January showing the drug to have only downsides like this with no benefit, before Trump ever suggested it. For over four months, various countries and organizations have continued new trials to the same results. It is like people actually be take Trump seriously when this question was long settled. This is old news on repeat, I don't know how these stories would convince people who haven't wanted to hear it til now.

It's funny, if I'm not mistaken hydroxychloroquine is the hypoallergenic for of quinine hydrochloride, right? Thanks to my penchant for tonic water and being prone to muscle cramps, I consume a lot of quinine hydrochloride without ill effects. Mind you, I do weigh approx 400lbs so it's not like I'm uber healthy.

Bullshit, how many times this nonsense has been debunked, Indian police officers have been on the same regiment as Trump and zero officers have died. Police whom didn't take it resulted in 9 deaths

Does anyone really think the POTUS would be allowed to take a drug which may jepordize his health? Either he never took it in the first place or the WHO and others are lying about the drug's lethality, either way SOMEONE is lying which is why I struggle to believe anyone one way or another.

Of course. Then they'll arrest doctors who prescribe it for covid, and more people will die. This has gotten ridiculous

Maybe more believable if you ignore WHO and Trump background.

Have you guys read how the drug actually _works_, or are you just reacting to the words Trump and WHO and assuming whatever makes you feel best? If you can't see how the words "retinal toxicity" might be _really important_ to pay attention to, don't worry, seeing anything could stop being an issue.

The first studies they did were with massive doses. Of course that would be dangerous. This has become totally corrupt, they want expensive treatments for profit. hydroxychloroquine is generic, so of course they don't want it used, it would not be profitable and would prevent sales of new expensive and ineffective pharmaceuticals.
