Michael Moore’s film Planet of the Humans removed from YouTube

YouTube has taken down a Michael Moore-produced documentary ’Planet of the Humans’ in response to a copyright infringement claim. The movie allegedly includes a clip without the permission of the owner photographer Toby Smith. Planet of the Humans calls itself as a ’full-frontal assault’ on the environmental movement. The movie has been slammed by climate scientists and activists for inaccuracy.

I'm sure it will be available somewhere else. YouTube is slowly digging its own grave with its evil censorship.

Why would climate scientists want this removed even if they disagree with it? Is it not better to just post a review or rebuttal to disprove the argument instead of censoring it like a crybaby? I’m calling the media out on this one. It is not scientific behavior to censor. Their so called “scientists” are activists with a fancy title to give them credit which has not been earned.

Surely Michael-moore has done enough of these to know all about proper copyright procedures? He's not a kid with a 2 week old YouTube channel making videos in Windows Movie Maker. Either he messed up in a completely unprecedented way. Or something else is going on. But I tend to by the motto "never attribute to malice, that which can be explained by gross incompetence.". So it could be that Moore is just a Mooron.

Just googled "planet of the humans bitchute" and found 6 copies all uploaded within the last 9 hours. This is how you address YouTube censorship.

If he is going after the environmental movement he will be deplatformed and unpersoned. You cannot question the sacred cows of: climate change, mass migration, gender dysphoria, white people being racist and a few others I can’t think of right now. Down the memory hole for you Michael Moore!

I would guess most people on this site stand with Michael Moore's free speech, even his detractors.

Doesn't YouTube usually let you cut out bits of your video if they infringe copyright laws. I am pretty sure they have a tool to do just that!

It's a shame as the documentary is accurate about the corporate greed and that the corporations screaming about climate change are lying and doing more damage than good. However, the documentary is also very wrong about humans causing global warming. It is definitely worth watching but keeping in mind that whilst the sociology is accurate, the science is very biased.

An inaccurate Moore movie? Say it's not true! It's almost like his opinions are the focus, not facts. Which puts in in the same boat as 99% of movies, I guess.

Michael Moore was just a producer for this movie. The actual director is a long time friend of Moore's. I did watch it. Didn't buy it wholesale as unimpeachable truth. However, it brought up some points to ponder, raised issues that can be addressed going forward.

Inaccuracies,.. that rich coming from climate scientists. Weren't we supposed to be dead from climate change 10 years ago?

I watched the entire documentry. What it's about is exposing the futality of so called green energy systems. It goes on to show what the problem really is. Very compelling. But it does not offer any solutions for the problems it points out. Along the way it points the finger at specific Corporations and certain wealthy individuals. In my opinion this documentary should be required viewing. Very informative, disturbing and alarming. Something needs to be done about these things but we apparently don't have any good answers yet. I believe as we approach the precipice we will find the answers.

Moore is a rather ignorant man whose films typically missinform viewers for political support

His downward spiral into irrelevancy seems to have pushed him into deeper waters. The last theatrical release of his I saw was Fahrenheit 9/11, and his movies seemed to have gone downhill from that point forward. I will at least give this one a chance in the hopes that it will actually address the issue of climate change alarmism becoming a multi-billion dollar industry over the past 20 years... but I won't hold my breath.
