Flags to fly at half-mast over all public buildings and naval ships

Commencing from May 27, Spain is to observe a 10-day mourning period. The country witnessed the hardest hit due to the spread of COVID-19 taking down nearly 30,000 people. During the 10-day long period, flags will fly at half-mast all over the country’s public buildings and navy ships. The end of the period will see an official ceremony led by the head of state in remembrance of the casualties.
