Victory Day parade in Russia rescheduled to June 24

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the annual Victory Day military parade on the Red Square has been postponed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Originally scheduled for May 9, this year the parade is to be held on June 24. It is designed to mark the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany. Putin further declared that the outbreak in the country was starting to stabilize.
