Antibody tests for Covid-19 wrong up to half the time, CDC says

Antibody tests to determine if people have been infected with Covid-19 may be wrong up to half of the time, according to the CDC. The agency warned that the testing is not accurate enough for it to be used for any policy-making decisions. The CDC says if a relatively low proportion of people in an area have contracted the virus, the test is likely to yield a significant number of false positives

They shouldn't guide policy to begin with. There's more than enough data to inform policy decisions. There need not be any specific policy beyond advice to limit your exposure to others if you are unhealthy or otherwise at risk. No immunity passports, no restrictions, period. Don't let your fears allow government and other agencies to take away your rights.

That's right it's just a data gathering study at this point... Exactly like first hiv test was... It's why it's a novel virus

If it is wrong half of the time you may as well just flip a coin.
