Mystic who claimed to live without food or water dies aged 90

An Indian mystic who claimed he survived without food or water has died at the age of 90. A team of medical professionals in 2010 conducted a two-week observation on the yogi Prahlad Jain and reported that he did not use the restroom, eat or drink any fluids during the period. ’We still do not know how he survives’, said the lead neurologist, though the results have never been peer-reviewed.

Not scientifically possible. The body requires water and nutrients to be able to metabolize and maintain energy. He had to have received nutrients and water in some way.

Hes pretty much those fake weirdos who say they live off air only. Put em in a room for a week and watch them lose their shit and starve begging for water or something to eat.

Very interesting, and the fact that they actually monitored him for 2 weeks is even crazier. The medical professionals reported that he did not use the restroom, eat or drink any fluids during his two-week observation with the team. "We still do not know how he survives," neurologist Sudhir Shah told reporters after the experiment in 2010, according to France 24. "It is still a mystery what kind of phenomenon this is." The results of the study have reportedly never been released or peer-reviewed. I do find it odd a that it has never been released, just discussed.

It’s amazing that such a unique phenomenon like this would be hidden away after the scientist had no explanation for it. What they can’t prove, they fear.

About as legit as vegans saying they don't eat meat , especially after a few years. I demand blood tests.

Total BS. Let Bear Grylls know thay he didn't need to drink his urine. Another proof that unreviewed studies are unreliable. Even if this guy managed to use photosynthesis for food, the body physically needs H2O.
