U.S. effort to extradite Huawei CFO clears a hurdle in British Columbia court

The U.S. cleared a hurdle to securing the extradition of Huawei’s CFO over alleged Iran sanction violations. TechCrunch reported that the Supreme Court of British Columbia ruled that Meng Wanzhou’s case met the standard for ’double criminality’ — that is, what she allegedly did was also illegal in Canada when she was arrested. This is necessary but there are still several steps before extradition.

of course, corrupt courts in canada and the UK do the bidding of the US..... courts in the UK give ridiculous sentences to Assange just to keep him behind bars, courts in Oz give the old Cardinal a free pass for using his bar on kids... and yet we lose our shit when china wants to govern HK?
