Hong Kong no longer qualifies as autonomous from China, says Pompeo

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that the US no longer views Hong Kong as politically autonomous from China. ’Today, I reported to Congress that Hong Kong is no longer autonomous from China’, Pompeo tweeted, adding that the US will support the people of Hong Kong. Pompeo’s stance comes days after Beijing moved to impose new national security legislation on the territory.

Apply trade sanctions immediately. No more trade either way. Let's see America bring the Chinese economy to its knees when they are no longer able to sell their cheap crapp to America. American companies can choose to either move their production back to America or move production to other countries.

The CCP made China a pirate state, they cheat, lie, steal, etc. They should be banned from all serious international organizations, the CCP corrupts every organization they join. #WHO #UN #WTO. China is an expanding empire and should be treated as such. They have territory and maritime disputes with many of its neighbors: #Taiwan 🇹🇼, #Tibet ☀️, #Hong Kong 🇭🇰, #Japan 🇯🇵, #Philippines 🇵🇭, #South Korea 🇰🇷, #India 🇮🇳, #Brunei 🇧🇳, #Malaysia 🇲🇾, #Indonesia 🇮🇩. Politic'l correctness can't prevent the free world from pointing this out.

I would love to see the USA help Hong Kong but I can't think of any real help we can offer them in a realistic scenario.

Nice move to stand with Hong Kong, while having the moral high ground to discourage retaliation.

The problem of removing the CCP requires a long term strategy with widespread support from the global community. It’s a Cold War scenario sadly but only the CCP to blame.
