Texas Supreme Court blocks ruling that expanded voting by mail

The Texas Supreme Court has blocked a decision that allowed mail-in balloting for voters who feared for their health because of COVID-19. ’We agree with the state that a voter’s lack of immunity to COVID-19, without more, is not a ’disability’ as defined by the Election Code’, the Chief Justice said in a ruling. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton welcomed the decision.

Great news. Mail in voting is too susceptible to fraud to be the main way that people vote.

they literally don't care if people die. just means fewer votes to count.

UT, CO, WA, HI, OR are vote by mail states. AZ is mostly so. They have been doing it successfully, and without frand, for years. It can be done well if a serious effort is made now, but can also be screwed up if we wait until it is too late.

Actual fake news. Trying to restrict voting access by making people either go out in public during a pandemic (an actual problem) because of the fear of a made up problem that doesn't exist. Republicans are the scum of the earth

Republicans love restricting people’s ability to vote so that they have a higher change of winning their elections. aka the REAL voter fraud
