House pulls FISA bill after Trump says he would veto legislation

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and top Democrats postponed a vote on Wednesday to reauthorize key parts of the federal surveillance program (FISA), after an 11th hour revolt by Republicans and progressive Democrats. The decision came a little over 24 hours after Trump threw his weight into the House’s FISA debate by calling on Republicans to oppose the bill.
