Turkey resumes intercity train services as covid-19 measures ease

Turkey has commenced its intercity trains on Thursday after a two-month shutdown owing to Covid-19 outbreak. Trains are expected to run at half capacity with price increases. The passengers would be monitored and any passengers showing COVID-19 symptoms during the trip would be shifted to isolation compartments on the trains and handed over to health officials at the first respective station.
