Minnesota Gov. activates National Guard amid violent police brutality protests

Gov. Tim Walz signed an executive order on Thursday activating the Minnesota National Guard following widespread lootings that began Wednesday and stretched into Thursday morning. The civil unrest is in reaction to the death of handcuffed black man, George Floyd, 46, during an arrest on Monday. ’Floyd’s death should lead to justice and systemic change, not more death and destruction.’ Walz stated.

The looting deminish the cause. Once you start looting, people stop listening to you.

Good, those "protesters," burnt down buildings like low income housing and small businesses. They don't want justice, they just want to loot. What does stealing tvs have to do with justice ...nothing.

Rioting is not a valid form of protest.

These riots are so uncalled for. They should all just take a knee or something...

Should Minnesota become a police state or a waste land of burndt buildings looted stores and vandalized cars?. Or do they need a state run mandatory civility class for people. Who just want to trash things.

Can’t we just protest peacefully. No one ever had anything to say when we did that...
