Protests over George Floyd’s death turn deadly in Minneapolis

Protests spread beyond Minneapolis on Thursday over the death of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, in police custody, with looting and fires set along a major St. Paul street. Earlier on Wednesday, a man was shot to death in Minneapolis forcing the mayor’s office for call in the National Guard. There have also been protests in Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California, and Memphis, Tennessee.

Have we heard the actual cause of death? Was it a broken neck, broken wind pipe or suffocation? Honest question. I'm not saying the cops weren't at fault, just wondering what the actual cause of death was.

It was not a cop, could have been shop owner or fellow looter. As to cops killing, i suggest we turn minneapolis into cop free zone, and wall it off. Here is how it would work. https://youtu.be/wuyWkNK0-yo

You lock down a country, cause mass economic strife, and force people out of their jobs.... and riots start? Shocker.

They don't want police? They need to build a big wall and live in that police free no jail, democrat utopia. Here is the opening of escape from new York. Showing how it would work. https://youtu.be/wuyWkNK0-yo

Mayor had lame answers when asked,"What's the plan, who's in charge?" "Where are the police, firefighters, National Guard?"

It is against the law to kill people. It is also against the law to set things on fire, vandalize, and loot property. The who violate the law should be protected.

Man I can’t wait to belly flop into a mental Stone Age, this is definitely the intelligent response to the issue. Tonight for dinner I shall have my table with a side of couch. The neighbors house looks like it needs smouldering.

I saw the older white woman in a wheelchair being hit, but who was killed during the looting? The article says nothing except it was a gunshot wound.

Protests should be held until this officer is jailed. Violence and rioting are not the answer, Floyd, I’m sure, would not want his legacy tarnished like this. It’s a shame a few morons are stealing the spotlight from Floyd.

Cops will always find a reason to kill. Period. Did that person have a weapon?

I get their outrage but looting and setting building's on fire is just stupid. Let them burn down everything and let's see them see the reprocussions of their actions. I wouldn't rebuild the target or any other building they just trash. If they rebuild only to see people loot and burn crap down the road then they would be stupid. They should leave those burndt buildings there as a reminder.
