Trump tweet flagged by Twitter for ’glorifying violence’

A tweet from Donald Trump was hidden by a warning from Twitter on Friday. The tweet, ’looting leads to shooting’ followed an earlier post in which he threatened to stop looters in Minneapolis with deadly military force. Trump defended the earlier Twitter post, saying it was ’spoken as a fact, not as a statement.’

Never in my life have I ever seen Americans treat their president with such hate. Sad day for the United States indeed.

Stop looting = glorify violence. Twitter dun goofed, I can't wait for Trump to smash them up.

When a social media company decides it has the right to censor the President of the country within which it operates simply because he is of conservative voice you have to wonder how far astray the liberal and left movements have gone. Perhaps, had Twitter done the same thing to every other tweet of a similar nature for the past few years they might, just might be able to defend themselves but this is blatantly the poison of the left trying to own the narrative and control the generally accepted worldview of a country in an election year.

At this point they went full on "No F1cks given" mode, and want an all out war with Trump, which they will lose miserably and pay dearly. This is a President's message to stop violence, or they will have to use force to disperse. What is wrong with Twitter to block this Presidential Message?

Dude, twitter is TDS Central man. Maybe trumps decision to make social media platforms a publisher is a good idea, seeing as how they use federal powers to enforce their own rules.

Because Twitter has a problem with their staff being ideologs and egocentric idiots.

Again with the racist trigger words tossing red meat to his base. Instead of calming the anger of his very own citizens (yes, there are people of all persuasions there), he’s whipping it into a frenzy from both sides of the race war. This, my friends and fellow citizens, is your president, making things worse.

Thats the biggest stretch I've ever seen. No one gets censored for saying send the cops to do their job. Why is Trump being censored for saying he'll send the National Guard to do their/the mayors job? Twitter is just pushing their luck with the recent executive order. It's gonna be interesting to see how this pans out.

HaHa! So funny to watch Twitter destroy the 🐂💩 legal protections that the government gave them and the other social media companies... by attacking the source of that legal protection, the government. :D They are not bein" "stunning and bra"e" in doing this, they are being passive-aggressive and trying to interfere with an elected government official and his official documents. They are going to lose, hard, and it will be top KEK when it happens. :D

Didn’t Hitler ban all sources to open knowledge? (Burned books, etc)... Trump is more Hitlerish every day - according to the rest of the world.

Trump "I'm going to enforce law with the help of the military, violence is not the answer to commemorate the deceased person" Twatter "gLoRiFyInG vIoLeNcE!!!" Me "Aren't those excusing the vandalism and looting as rightful protests the ones actually glorifying violence?"

First Twitter fact check Trump using CNN and now they’re doing this after he retaliated. So that’s Twitter slapping Trump in the face with its dick twice in a week. Troll getting trolled and he ain’t happy. Twitter have the upper hand right now as they essentially own his Twitter profile and sadly for Trump they’re not a public biz. If he picks a fight with them he pics a fight with all the other related private businesses. And combined they have more money than trump and the US gov.

So if that's violent rhetoric, and Ice Cube said something should be done afterward, does his tweet get the same treatment? What about Carlos Maza, or Cathy Griffin?

Good for Twitter, the president should be held to the exact same standard as everyone else. If I have to follow their rules to post then so should he. And it's not censorship if you can still read the tweet.

Trump got bitch slapped, get over it. When he said "there are very fine people of both sides" he was told words, especially those of a president matter. Is he just to insular, or to stupid to get it, you decide?

Twitter is gonna respond to content however they want... it’s like taking candy from a baby, it’s easy and mean. They know it’s going piss off trump, they know he’s going to have a tantrum, and we’ll enjoy watching him get trolled. He’s loves twitter.
