Louisville PD apologizes for targeting news crew at protest

Louisville PD has apologized after a video showed a police officer firing what appeared to be pepper balls at a news crew during a live broadcast. The crew from WAVE-TV was downtown in the Kentucky city Friday, covering demonstrations over the death of Breonna Taylor. ’It’s not something that should have occurred’, Louisville police spokeswoman said.

What makes a journalist so entitled that they can wander into a riot and then get upset when they get hit with collateral damage. I don't give a single care in the world how many press badges someone has, if you are in a dangerous place then dangerous things will happen. Don't stand in the road, don't argue with police, don't casually wander through a riot.

The sad part is with how garbage CNN has become I could honestly see them putting themselves into the line of fire of these pepperballs for ratings and/or pushing a narrative.

Its not like the police need CNN out there making the situation worse then they already have.

Why apologies. The news is happy because they have something to justify their stupidity

Everyone who is saying that the police shouldn’t apologies go live in Russia or China if you don’t want freedom of the press.
