Louisville TV reporter struck by cops’ pepper balls during George Floyd protest

WAVE 3 News reporter Kaitlin Rust and photojournalist James Dobson were struck by pepper balls reportedly fired by an LMPD officer during a protest in downtown Louisville on Friday night. Rust squealed in pain and shock when hit repeatedly with what she first thought were rubber bullets during a live segment on WAVE 3 News. Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer has apologized over the incident.
