How the coronavirus war is being won in Vietnam

Even though Vietnam has a weak healthcare system along with a low budget for combating the pandemic, it is still winning the war against COVID-19. Rigorous quarantine policies have been used along with completely tracing out people who came in contact with the virus. Vietnam has consequently been able to control the spread of the virus to just 268 infections since January.

I'm generally not prone to conspiracy type thinking, but things like this make me wonder how many of alleged Kung Flu deaths really are just people who had the virus in their system but actually died of something else

So we are to look to another authoritarian communist regime for the answer to this eh? The mask really is slipping here as brutal lock downs and poor human rights, with the removal of civil liberties to combat a virus that has really been a nothing burger is what we should aspire to?
