FBI, federal prison riot teams deployed to George Floyd protests

AG William Barr is reportedly directing the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ riot teams and FBI’s Hostage Rescue Unit to Washington, D.C., and Miami as part of the administration’s response to riots that have escalated in the days after the death of an African American in police custody. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also deployed special response teams nationwide to help with the riots.
