Protest over death of George Floyd see global repercussions

US citizens protesting over the death of Floyd saw global support as thousands of people marched on streets of NZ. The protests in NZ were part of a number of demonstrations around the globe, from London and Berlin to Australia and the Netherlands, after a video showed a white Minneapolis police officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck before he died last Monday. However these rallies have been peaceful.

Is anyone else starting to feel like Floyd's death is being used, especially when his killer is behind bars in record time? Granted I can understand if Activist feels like he was the catalyst for a pre-established powder keg. But when BLM demands were met they immediately moved the goal post and acted as if the cops were more corrupt than ever. I'm worried all this violence and rioting is going to make people wonder why they should even try to appease the activist if they're going to riot anyways.

Ok I get protests in the USA but anyone in other countries have nothing to protest about that is in any way related to Floyd. Come to think of it anyone outside of Minnesota has little to protest about that is in any way related to Floyd.

All of this to ignore the actually oppressed people of Hong Kong. Cognitive dissonant peope are threatening the persistance of man kind and must be exterminated without remorse.

Same week: 204 people murdered by Islam across 12 different countries. Why no global protests against Islamism? Oh, right, it doesn't fit the virtue signalling narrative.... Also, this week a Sudanese asylum seeker stabbed 4 bystanders in France, while chanting Islamist slogans. Utter silence from the MSM.

They are not protesting against racism. That went out the window the minute they started looting and burning buildings.

Uninvolved people seeking virtue points. I would suggest that it has more to do with some kind of strange group think than people understanding the real issues. "It's the new and exciting thing to protest about!"

This is nothing to do with George Floyd. People are just tired of the lockdown and are looking for an excuse, any excuse, to "protest". Or riot.

Good, round them up and deport them. Set them free. It's so much better over there because they are better than us.

This guy gets it.

While tragic, some American kids are abused, starved, you name it every day, let alone many parts of the world. If we could have a fraction of the outrage aimed at that, I'd say we were making progress. It's just not as glamorous as accusing us all of being racist.

Statism caused this. Racism sparked this.

Why? Because leftist globalism is cancer.

Some people are too stupid to understand why they protest and too full of hate to stop.

This is baffling to me. When is the last time Americans protested over a random death in Germany, etc?
