Bombardier to cut 2500 jobs

Canadian plane and train maker Bombardier would cut 2,500 jobs, or about 11% of the workforce as it expects 30% dip in demand due to covid pandemic. The company is also in the process of selling its rail business to French TGV high-speed train maker Alstom for up to €6.2 billion.
