Bentley reveals plans to cut up to 1,000 jobs

Bentley is to cut up to 1,000 jobs of its 4,200 strong workforce under a ’voluntary release programme’ and cannot rule out future compulsory redundancies, it has announced. The announcement follows 3,000 job losses at Aston Martin, McLaren and car dealership Lookers in recent days. Bentley said its recovery programme launched in 2018 has been ’derailed by the impact of the pandemic’.
