Former VP Joe Biden clinches Democratic presidential nomination

Former Vice President Joe Biden has earned enough delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination for president. Biden, who has been the presumptive Democratic nominee since Senator Bernie Sanders dropped out on April 8, gained delegates bringing him 4 over the 1,991-delegate threshold needed for nomination following primary votes in seven states on June 2. Eight states have not voted yet.

I was sure they were going to pull someone out to put their support behind. I guess it's not too late. They could last minute deem him unable to fulfill his duties and hand things off to whoever would have been VP.
