Chicago sees deadliest day in 60 years

Chicago sees deadliest day in 60 years

Amidst the rioting, spurred from the BLM protests, Chicago saw 18 people fatally shot on May 31, making it the most violent 24-hour period the city has experienced over the last 60 years. Over the entire weekend, 25 people were killed citywide from late May 29 - May 31, while another 85 people were hurt by gunfire. The city’s next most violent day was Aug. 4, 1991, when 13 murders were recorded.

I'm assuming there will be no protests or mass policy change or any companies making public statements for these 18 people because the blame can't be placed on someone else.

Wow. Talk about a bold faced lie. Memorial day weekend is the weekend before memorial day, not after. Those murders had NOTHING to do with the long weekend. Those murders happened because riots and looting were destroying our city and the cops were so busy "protecting" peaceful protestors on the north side that they completely abandoned the south and west sides. What a bunch of bull crap.
