Jefferson Davis statue torn down in Richmond, Virginia

Protesters toppled a statue of Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America, in Richmond, Va., on Wednesday night. Police were on the scene as videos showed the monument being towed away as a crowd cheered. The statue was among a number of prominent Confederate monuments that had stood on Monument Avenue in Richmond, which was once the capital of the Confederacy.

All you accomplished was making it so taxpayer dollars are used to put the statue back up...oh and you made yourself feel better you mob of petulant infants.

Look people you don't get to remove or vandalize statues. If you don't like the statues then your remedy is to bring that matter before the city council or the governor. A mob has no political authority or legitimacy.
