Apple pulls podcast app in China after government pressure

Apple has removed a popular podcast app called Pocket Casts from its App Store in China at the request of the Chinese government, the app’s makers said on Thursday. The Cyberspace Administration of China has reportedly determined that the app can be used to access content deemed illegal in the country. It’s the second major podcast app to be removed from China’s App Store this month.
