Windsor Castle witnesses a socially distanced birthday ceremony

Queen Elizabeth’s birthday ceremony traditions were altered this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. A fewer number of soldiers standing at a two-meter distance listened to the performance by a Band of the Household Division. The Queen, who now turned 94, was seen for the first time ever since the country went under lockdown in March. She received a royal salute followed by a march.

My dad was really excited to have his family surrounding him on his 90th birthday. Then COVID-19 took away the opportunity for us to gather. Hopefully, we'll do a 91st for him.

So what's the plan? Only 4000 people instead of the usual 40,000?
