New Zealand reports 2 new COVID-19 cases, days after declaring itself virus-free

New Zealand said on Tuesday that it has two new cases of COVID-19, ending a 24-day streak of no new infections in the country. Both women, who are from the same family, had travelled from the UK and were given special permission to attend the funeral of a parent. Last week New Zealand had lifted all domestic restrictions, declaring that the country was virus-free.

Well, New Zealand is thinly populated and overall not that big if compared to the US. But still... And it's not the only country which has good results. Makes it easy to see the problems the US have. Now I don't blame solely Trump. The governors and many other political positions have their part. The US is a federal nation with several states that have huge independence from each other. But Germany at least in Health isn't that different if you need an example. It's a federal nation as well and their different "Bundesländer" (States) are responsible in such situations, not primarily the federal government. But the federal government took a leading role, the different state govs came together and coordinated... They didn't get everything perfect either and have their problems as well but just look at the numbers, look at the curve there and in the US, look at the US deaths... The world is showing how it coud've been done. And not only how it could've been done in a totalitarian regime like China. How other free nations are handling it successfully.
