Man shot as New Mexico protesters try to bring down Spanish conqueror’s statue

A man was shot on Monday night as protesters in Albuquerque tried to bring down a bronze statue of a Spanish conquistador outside the Albuquerque Museum. A group of armed men were trying to protect the statue. The city announced that the statue would be removed until officials determine the next steps. The injured man was taken to a hospital and was in critical but stable condition.

The man with the gun was attacked first, he tried to walk away and they kept going after him. He shot in self defense...he was the one who got arrested though and not the ones committing a federal crime of destroying a statue.

Antifa tactic; push and push until there is a reaction, and then claim it’s the fault of the other side.

If people vandalize public monuments then arrest them. A mob doesn't have the authority or right to tear down statues. We need to stop letting them do that.

When you yell at some one who is running away "were going to kill you" and are smashing him with a skateboard in a mob, then yeah, this is a clear cut case of self defense. Hopefully far left (or any insane mod mentality group) groups that mob people like this will think twice, especially if they are armed.
