Chrome will soon be less of a memory hog in Windows 10

As per a WindowsLatest report, Microsoft has introduced Windows segment heap memory improvements in its May 2020 Update, which will reduce overall memory usage of Win32 apps such as Google Chrome by 27%. It is a technical change available to developers and it works only on Windows 10 version 2004 or newer.

Eh, that's kinda why I bet on M$. They realize that some devs don't fix their sh!t, and they don't want to look bad because a dev somewhere else can't code right.

Thus is not "Google Chrome's worst sin". Not by a long shot, though it is very annoying. I didn't buy 32GB with my computer just so chrome could gobble it all up, then have to dump it when I want to open the damn calculator.
