Ex-Stone prosecutor claims he was under pressure to cut Roger Stone ’a break’

Aaron Zelinsky, a prosecutor who withdrew from the Roger Stone prosecution, will reportedly tell Congress that prosecutors were under ’pressure’ to give ’favorable treatment’ to Roger Stone. Prosecutors were thus pressured, Mr. Zelinsky has claimed, because of Mr. Stone’s connections with President Trump.

Ok so a former prosecutor suspects that one of the people he tried to charge with a crime did something wrong.... what am I missing here? I hate how every claim is substantiated with synonyms of "so they say." Are we to reexamine the Mueller Report every year, like a horrid birthday present or something?

In this political climate someone making a comment to you is seen as applying “pressure”.

And this is neither a surprise, or even of question. The duo of Stone and Trump (along with Pence, McConnell, Cruz, Pompeii, and, ...) make the Axis power leaders look like school children playing at government.
