The US state of Kentucky is facing a polling crisis, as numbers of in-person voters are set to plummet due to the impact of COVID-19.
I often find it amusing that people make comments like “there is no such thing as voter suppression!” The last person who said that to me after I told my story of suppression in 2016 and again in 2019, was livid that I was even suggesting it. Can you imagine living life with your fingers in your ears?
He insulted me, told me that I should just go have an abortion (I’m 70), and went on and on about what he would do to me if he knew who I was. The nut-jobs who come out on the other side of this is scary. Just as scary as the people who have propagandized them, who are currently working in the White House.
If the White House had it’s way, NO ONE would vote, by mail or otherwise, unless it’s a Republican. We already know that most of them use mail in ballots. It’s just those of us on the streets who can’t.
