Starbucks is adding plant-based meat to its US menu for the first time as part of an effort to reduce its environmental impact. The coffee chain confirmed that a breakfast sandwich made with imitation sausage from Redwood City, California-based Impossible Foods is now available at a majority of its US restaurants. The sandwich comes with egg and cheese and is served on a ciabatta bun.
Whatever that shit is, it’s not “meat”.
Reminds me of the cheap veggie burgers we made back in the day at Burger King. It had no grease and smelled funny, terrible smell actually and likely tasted the same. Plants shouldn't be used in imitation meat.
I ate some "planet based meat" once and it tastes nothing like meat. You can tell from the look, tast and texture that it is anything but meat and it tastes horrible.
No such thing as plant based meat, nor soy milk, nor non-dairy cheese. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise it as such. Just like how imitation crab is usually spelled "krab".
Expect more rallies and burning downs in the future... This is what drives people nuts... China is loving it.
Starbucks is garbage anyway.
Of course this will do nothing for the environment. But it's a great way to part gullible hipsters from their money.
Yeah that’s it more processed junk!
All the meat i eat is plant based. First it was grass, then a cow ate it.
