Gaming companies are responding to a wave of sexual misconduct allegations
The gaming industry has taken notice of widespread accounts of sexual misconduct, and are beginning to act. Twitch confirmed that it is investigating some of the serious accusations and permanently banning streamers depending on findings. More than 100 people in the gaming industry, mostly women, have publicly alleged they were sexually assaulted, harassed or discriminated on basis of gender.
