Australia sends army to Victoria to fight COVID-19

Australia’s state of Victoria deployed ambulances and mobile test centres in a COVID-19 testing blitz as the country recorded the biggest daily rise in cases in two months. 33 people tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours, marking nine days of double digit new cases in the state. The Govt. plans to deploy 1,000 military personnel to help the state contain the virus.
