Amazon removes single-use plastic in packaging across centers in India

Amazon has removed all single-use plastic in its packaging across its fulfillment centers in India. The removal is in line with the company’s target to remove the packaging material by June. Amazon has replaced packaging materials, such as bubble wraps and air pillows, with paper cushions. The company claims that it has also swapped out packaging tapes with other biodegradable options.

This feels like the plastic straw thing. California band plastic straws that could be recycled and all the fast food places started using paper straws that couldn't be recycled. Basically this is only good if they don't end up replacing it with something worse.
