Structure of CFPB is unconstitutional, rules Supreme Court

The United States Supreme Court on Monday ruled that the structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is unconstitutional. The CFPB is the brainchild of Senator Elizabeth Warren and is a consumer watchdog. The Supreme Court, however, stopped short of dismantling the agency.

This is surprising, and quite frankly is huge news, far larger than a couple in Portland practicing their second amendment rights.( Though good on them.) I'm not even sure what the full ramifications of this are going to be, but to get declared unconstitutional is fairly devastating.

Finally! This ruling is long overdue and quite welcome as it was a deeply flawed and unconstitutional agency from its inception. Warren is highly overrated.
