Supreme Court spurns environmental challenge to Trump’s border wall

The Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from a coalition of environmental groups, challenging the Trump administration’s construction of a wall on the country’s southern border. The group had argued that the 1996 law under which the administration is building the wall gave too much power to the executive in violation of the constitution, and that the wall would harm wildlife habitats.
