Coronavirus lockdown extended in Leicester to control outbreak

According to an announcement made by Matt Hancock in the parliament on Monday night, the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic is set to extend in Leicester beyond the 4th of July. Leicester has an infection rate of 135 per 100,000 people, which is three times higher than the next highest local area.
