Facebook bans ’boogaloo’ group from its platforms

Facebook has removed a network of accounts, groups and pages associated with the far-right movement known as ’boogaloo’. The term boogaloo refers to a group advocating for a violent uprising and wanting a second Civil War. Facebook removed the network for violating its policy of ’Dangerous Individuals and Organizations’. The company removed 220 accounts, 95 Instagram accounts in the network.

Yeah ‘boogaloo’ has nothing to do with ‘right wing’ or ‘left wing’, it’s just people referring to (sometimes advocating, other times just preparing for) a 2nd civil war. Anyway why are people still using Facebook?

As a libertarian I thinks it's equally ok for a social media company to censor because the company is privately owned as for a private company to tell a union to eff off...

Boogaloo is fake anyway. It's a Leftist Larp patsy group they'll use to blame all their violence and terrorism on the Right.
