Judge strikes down Trump border ban aimed at Central Americans

A federal judge Tuesday struck down the administration’s asylum regulation that required Central Americans to first seek asylum in other countries they traveled through before seeking asylum in the US. The US District Judge Timothy Kelly, appointed by Trump, said that authorities violated federal rule-making procedures by not seeking public feedback before putting the policy into effect in 2019.

President Trump should put a limit to the amount of people who can come into the U.S with a maximum 10 year waiting period before allowing another group to enter. That way they can apply legally during their wait.
