"Small island states such as Jamaica stand to suffer big losses in proportion to their economies, facing an 11 percent fall in GDP or $1.68 billion." Tourism is an important employer in many countries, and with this sector being in the doldrums, humanity's fight against poverty has taken a massive hit. Wish this pandemic ends soon, a lot of lives are at stake here.
