Sniffer dogs could bolster Covid screening at airports

Sniffer dogs could contribute to efforts to prevent the spread of Covid, according to scientists. As part of a trial, dogs were trained to recognize a distinctive odor produced by people with the virus. Dogs were able to identify the virus with 97% accuracy, regardless of whether those cases are asymptomatic. Dogs are over 100,000 times more accurate at identifying scents than humans.

Unf*×kingbelievable . That's 3% unreliable . A good fart could throw this method of attack right off the track.

I believe this would be a wonderful tool for early covid detection. I am wondering if those dogs are been vaccinated again covid-19 and if they show secondary effects to the vaccine.
