Iran nuclear site fire hit centrifuge facility, analysts say

Analysts believe that the fire at an Iranian nuclear site Thursday struck a centrifuge production facility. The plant is above the tightly guarded Natanz underground nuclear enrichment facility. A Middle Eastern intelligence official told the NYT that the blast was caused by an explosive device and destroyed parts of the facility where new centrifuges are balanced before being put into operation.
