Canada suspends extradition treaty with Hong Kong in lieu of new security law

According to the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, the extradition treaty between Canada and Hong Kong is going to be suspended. This is as a response to the new security law being imposed on the region by China. In a news conference, Trudeau said that the export of sensitive military items to Hong Kong will not be permitted by Canada.
