Commercial shoebox-sized rover to fly to the Moon in 2021

Astrobotic will deliver a small cuberover name Iris to the Moon in 2021. The shoebox-sized rover will drive about 160 feet and study how a landings alter the surface of the Moon. The cuberover will be delivered to the Moon by Astrobotic’s Peregrine lander along with 11 other NASA payloads. This mission is one of several commercial missions meant to support NASA’s Artemis program.
